1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Shomerli service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are creating an account on behalf of a family, institution, or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Shomerli service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and dashboard notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
2. Description of Service
Shomerli provides an AI-powered internet content filtering platform designed for families, institutions, and businesses. The service includes: DNS-Based Filtering: All internet traffic from registered devices is routed through our DNS servers, which apply content filtering rules based on the assigned protection profile. AI Content Classification: Domains not found in our blocklist or cache are evaluated by our AI classification engine, which analyzes the domain's content category and safety rating. Protection Profiles: Four levels of protection (Child, Teen, Adult, Business) with customizable filtering rules, whitelist/blocklist management, and category-based controls. Anti-Bypass Detection: Monitoring for VPN applications, DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-TLS, proxy tunnels, Tor usage, app uninstall attempts, and other bypass methods. Parent/Admin Dashboard: Web-based management interface for device monitoring, unblock request approval, activity reports, and configuration. Shomerli is a filtering tool designed to reduce exposure to harmful content. It is not a guarantee of complete protection. No filtering system can block 100% of harmful content or prevent all forms of access to restricted material.

You agree to: - Provide truthful registration information - Maintain one account per family or organization (multiple user profiles are managed within a single organization account) - Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with unauthorized individuals - Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account - Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account You must be at least 18 years old to create a Shomerli account. During Shabbat and Jewish holidays, non-critical notifications (marketing, reports, low-priority alerts) are suppressed. Filtering protection remains fully active at all times, including during Shabbat. Support during these periods is limited to asynchronous communication (email). We target a 99.9% uptime for our DNS filtering infrastructure but this is a best-effort goal, not a contractual guarantee.
